Position Description

Essential Duties & Responsibilities: oUnderstands accepted troubleshooting guidelines for PLC, control valves and all PLC logic. oPosses overall knowledge of the installation, operation, repair, of assigned equipment. oMaintains sufficient inventory of electrical supplies and repair parts to meet most emergency situations. oTakes care of company vehicle, keeping it clean and organized. oReports any unsafe practices or actions to supervisor. oContinues to look for better and more efficient ways of doing job. oKeeps lines of communication open to supervisor and other company employees while meeting the needs of all customers. oMakes call outs on equipment. oWorks with project managers, engineering and contractors on all new construction projects. oMaintain all controls, monitor alarms and sensor tests. oTroubleshooting and scheduling electrical maintenance for the assigned location. oSolid understanding of electrical motor control. oKnowledge of electrical prints and capable of making appropriate red-line changes to them. oAssist PLC programming personnel. oGood understanding of PLC cause and effect. oSupervise electrical contractors. oOther duties as assigned. All task are to be performed in consideration of the following: o Adherence to state, federal and local laws and regulations. o Adherence to all company policies and procedures. o Practice of company core values. o Safety in the forefront of every task performed. *Position will be located in Watford City, ND and may be filled at various levels depending on experience and job skills of successful candidate.

Position Requirements

Education and/or Experience: oHigh School degree or equivalent. oGeneral knowledge of compressor stations, gathering system, and processing plant operations. oJourneyman electrician. Qualifications: oGood verbal and written communication skills. oCustomer orientation. oAbility to effectively present information in a one-on-one and small group situation to other employees of the company and outside contractors. oBasic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions, decimals). oApply common sense understanding to carry out day-to-day operation issues. oBe able to make quick and reasonable decisions in sometimes-adverse conditions. Certificates, Licenses, Registrations oValid operating license with acceptable driving record. May work in a standing, sitting, lying down, crouched or kneeling position. oRoutinely reacts to visual, aural and other signals, including alarms and instructions, and is required to visually inspect work. oRegularly bends, stoops, moves from ground level to higher levels, raises/lifts from ground level a load up to 50 lbs., manually transports a load up to 75 lbs., and applies up to 150 foot pounds of torque. oRegularly gets into and out of vehicles and rides over rough roads. oWalks an average of 5 miles per day, up to 7 miles per day. oCandidates may be subject to Department of Transportation (DOT) drug and alcohol testing requirements, oSubject to overtime and call-outs.
