Position Description

Summary: Responsible for overall daily operations of processing plant and compressor station and assists with maintenance activates. Essential Duties & Responsibilities: o Measures and records production at various locations. o Operates processing plant, gas compressors, pumps, and other related equipment. o Performs minor repairs and major repairs with assistance from others on compressors and other related equipment. o Takes callouts and responds in a timely manner. o Assists mechanical, measurement, and other company personnel as needed. o Ensures the cost effectiveness and efficiency of all engines and associated equipment. o Ensures that the product and gas meets the requirement and specs of the customer. o Operates and maintains compressor stations and processing plant daily. Records production and equipment readings. o Completes appropriate documentation and paperwork for all activities performed. o Reports all excessive downtime to appropriate people. o Maintains company vehicle appropriately. o Other duties as assigned.

Position Requirements

Education and/or Experience: o High School degree or equivalent. o General knowledge of compressor stations, gathering system, and processing plant operations. o Follows company policies, practices, and regulatory requirements Qualifications: o Good verbal and written communication skills. o Customer orientation. o Ability to effectively present information in a one-on-one and small group situation to other employees of the company and outside contractors. o Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions, decimals). o Apply common sense understanding to carry out day-to-day operation issues. o Be able to make quick and reasonable decisions in sometimes-adverse conditions. Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: o Valid state operating license with insurable driving record under company insurance policy. May work in a standing, sitting, lying down, crouched or kneeling position. o Routinely reacts to visual, aural and other signals, including alarms and instructions, and is required to visually inspect work. o Regularly bends, stoops, moves from ground level to higher levels, raises/lifts from ground level a load up to 50 lbs., manually transports a load up to 75 lbs., and applies up to 150 foot pounds of torque. o Regularly gets into and out of vehicles and rides over rough roads. o Walks an average of 5 miles per day, up to 7 miles per day. o Candidates may be subject to Department of Transportation (DOT) drug and alcohol testing requirements, o Subject to overtime and call-outs.
